He was a rare breed
He didn't see himself as such
But everyone around him knew it
He had a strange worldview
He was especially drawn to the weak,
afflicted, sick, downtrodden and
disadvantaged!
As a child he always brought stray
animals or wounded animals home
Dogs, cats, goats, pigeons and so on
He would patiently clean their wounds
and try to cure them of them
Sometimes some of the strays died!
He would cry and sometimes fall sick
when this happens!
His parents knew he was going to be
a doctor
He was quite good academically
As he grew older he was drawn to human
afflictions and he opted to study
medicine!
Some people thought he would outgrow
his "weakness for the helpless"
Compassion does not pay bills and
life is a strong course corrector!
But it stuck with him!
It was his nature and heart kind that 
drew him to Jesus!
When he read the Bible he saw One
just like him in nature
One who didn't say "Why are you
suffering" but only said "Suffer no more"
He wondered how many human beings
justify the suffering of others as either
the consequences of their sin, ill-luck
or as a result of wickedness!
They do this without offering a remedy!
Many pastors who offer remedies sold false
hopes, lies and fleece people for money
But Jesus was a different species!
And so was he!
He became born again and got filled with
the Holy Spirit
His relationship with the Holy Spirit was
very comforting
The Holy Spirit helped him deal with all
the images of affliction and misery that
clung to him in the course of his work!
Every patient has a story
The one that survived gave him a lift
But whenever he lost a patient, his heart
cringed!
He was told it was a disadvantage!
"You cannot save them all! You do your
best and hope for the best outcome! 
You win some and you lose some!
Such is life"
He understood the philosophy in principle
But couldn't just abide with it in practice!
When he heard a cholera epidemic in a
community close to the city where he grew
up!
He was the first person to volunteer his 
services to save lives
It took five months for the epidemic to be 
reined in
Just as he was packing his bags to return
to the city
The Holy Spirit told him he should stay in
the community
It was a small community
The nearest hospital was many miles away
He felt the community needed at least an
healthcare centre
Instead of complaining and blaming the 
government
He decided to open one!
He went to friends, family members, 
churches
and government agencies
He got some support
Within six months, he had erected a
a church structure and a clinic
He felt he shouldn't have to just heal
bodies when there are souls to be saved!
He relocated to the village full time!
His babe at the time felt he lacked ambition
and drive
She walked away from the relationship!
He was unperturbed
His vision was stronger than personal goals
And he grew up knowing many people saw him
as strange or weird
He wanted to live a meaningful life, not a
materialistic one!
His parents understood him perfectly
They were both missionaries with a pentecostal
church and had walked with the Holy Spirit for
many years!
Eventually, he found a wife!
The NYSC posted some graduates to the local
school in the community
They mingled with him because he was 
educated and treated them whenever 
they fell ill
One of them saw his heart and loved it
She decided to stay in the community with
him and share his vision
She was the only daughter of an academician
She was also a pharmacist 
They had a simple wedding
She was his heaven ordained life partner!
The marriage was heaven but it lacked one
thing!
A child!
His wife wanted a baby badly
He went to God in prayer
What do I do, how do I do it?
The Holy Spirit showed him a vision
In the vision, he was celebrating his 
43rd birthday
his wife was with him and so were a 
set of twins
They were like five years old!
He was overjoyed!
He knew they would have children very soon!
When he was 37 years old, his wife got
pregnant
It was exactly as he had anticipated
The pregnancy was very smooth
He doted upon her with all diligence 
He didn't know what happened
The pregnancy was seven months old when
his wife started screaming in the middle 
of the night!
By the time he got her to the car, she 
was silent
He checked her pulse
She was dead!
Dead!!!!!!
They had everything prepared
She was supposed to move to the city and 
deliver through CS in less than a month
He checked her personally every morning
How could she be dead?
He took her back into their room and laid
her on the bed!
He knew what he saw
God had shown him his wife was with
him during his 43rd Birthday and they
had a set of twins with them!
What happened?
How come the vision was being altered
in reality?
He cried,  he prayed, he called...
Silence!
He picked up his phone and reached out
to the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt at 4:30 AM
on the 4th of October 2019
He wrote "Emergency! Please call me ASAP"
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt called him by
6:15AM
He told the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt what
had happened
"Sir, I want you to know I hear from God for
myself but this time he has kept silent!
I want to know if I should bury my wife
or if God will come through for me in any way!
The brother in Jeans and T-shirt told him
the silence of God does not take away the
authority of the believer!
"Do you have a handkerchief with you?"
asked the Brother in Jeans and T-shirt
They prayed in the spirit for a while
The Brother in Jeans and T-shirt told
life to rest on the handkerchief by the
power of the Holy Spirit.
He laid the handkerchief on his wife
and left the room
(He didnt want it to seem as if he was
searching the mysteries of God or investigating
what would happen)
It was already 7AM, he walked around his 
compound praying in the spirit
Then he heard a scream!
His wife was alive!
He rushed into the room
"I have been calling your name, where
have you been?" asked his wife
He couldn't say a word
He helped her to the car and drove furiously
to the hospital
Seven hours and thirteen minutes later
at about 4:17 pm 
His wife delivered a set of twin boys!

PS: He said he only told his wife what
happened overnight at about 10pm 
that same day!
His wife had no knowledge of the event
We must contend
We must not be quick to throw in the towel
If things are not going according to the divine
plan which God had revealed to you
Don't accept fate!
You have authority and power
You have the Holy Spirit
And of course, you have fellow believers
who you can agree with in prayer and
turn darkness into light!
