Find The Solution!
“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations. Be assured and understand that the trial and proving of your faith bring out endurance and steadfastness and patience” (James 1:2-4 Amp).
Often, we hear some Christians make statements such as “I don’t want any trouble, I just want to live a very simple life.” It’s like saying, “I just want to go to school, I don’t want to take any examination,” and we all know that that’s not possible.
Examination is a part and parcel of our learning process and the educational system, so also are troubles, challenges, and trials of life. Brother James says we should be wholly joyful when we face challenges, but that’s an impossible feat for some folks. It’s all because they have not taken the time to study their Bibles. There can be no excellence without an examination, so also there can be no victories without challenges.
The reason you’re going through that situation is that you’re more than equal to the task. In 1 Corinthians 10:13, the Bible says, “…God is faithful [to His Word and to His compassionate nature], and He [can be trusted] not to let you be tempted and tried and assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure…” (Amp), so the problem came to you because you could handle it.
There’s no problem today that’s without a solution; every problem gravitates to its solution.
So you see, the solution is with you and inside you; take up the challenge today! This is why I tell people, “Welcome trouble!” I’m never afraid of trouble, as it’s always an opportunity for me to shine. I get my kicks from challenges; I like it when trouble comes. The book of Proverbs 24:10 says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small,” and how true this is. You must strengthen your heart with God’s Word every day, so that you’ll be strong enough to face the challenges of life.
The Word of God gives you everything you need: health, joy, wealth, prosperity, grace, wisdom, and all that the vicarious death of Christ and His triumphant resurrection delivered to us as Christians.
That’s what salvation encapsulates. With the knowledge of God’s Word in your spirit, you have what it takes to create anything you want.
At the well of Samaria, Jesus encountered a woman and asked her for a drink of water. But noticing that He was a Jew, the woman told Him they had nothing in common, and for ethnic reasons declined.
Then, Jesus replied, “…Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:13- 14).
The Master knew He could give her something to quench her thirst forever—the Word. With the Word, she would be able to create anything she desired.
Oftentimes, when people are facing difficult situations, what they need is a Word-therapy or what I may call a “Word-diet.” They’d have to listen to God’s Word and study the Scriptures over a period of time, until the Word gets rid of the wrong mindset, and reprograms them aright for success.
If that doesn’t happen, no matter what else you do for them, their situation wouldn’t change.
Sometimes, when people are sick in their bodies, the real problem is beyond the symptoms that are apparent in their physical bodies. Such pains might stem from their mind. There’s a difference between the sickness of the mind, and that of the body.

Just as there’re bespoke clothes, bags, and shoes, etc., there’re also “bespoke problems,” customized just for you.
The challenges you face in life aren’t planned for anybody else, but you. So, make up your mind to be excited for the peculiar challenges that come your way, for they’re yours to overcome.
It’s the reason the Word says, “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations” (James 1:2). You’re destined to prevail.
Problems gravitate only towards their solution. So, welcome trouble. Your attitude towards life’s challenges should be that of absolute success and total victory, irrespective of the situation.
The problem you have in your life isn’t the issue, and it’s not how you feel about it that gets God’s attention. What gets His attention is what you do about it. He’s not “troubled” by the severity of the problems you face, because He knows you’re born of Him; you’re more than a conqueror.
All He wants you to do is to learn His Word, and get the wisdom of the Kingdom working in your spirit, so that you’ll always respond the right way. When you face every challenge with Kingdom-response, you’ll never lose.
2 Corinthians 4:17 says, “For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.”
The quality and potential of the troubles that come your way determine the quality of your personality, your promotion, and the place that God has set for you. The smaller your troubles, the smaller your rank will be.
Be inspired by people who have faced tough times and prevailed; not by lily-livered individuals who chickened out in the day of adversity. The Bible says if you give up in the day of adversity, you’re of a poor specimen (Proverbs 24:10 TLB).
Confront challenges and win. If you think your challenges are great, happy are you, for that means you’re great; it’s your opportunity to prove the Word.
Face that problem head-on! Your faith is all that you need. Your faith in the Word will always prevail and put you over.
