Learn To Hear God For Yourself

My brother's wife was in labor in July this year. The exact day I arrived in Lagos, I didn't know. The doctor said she must be operated (CS)that the baby is big, but my mom and my brother said never! God hasn't covenant such with them. So, the lady was made to go through intense labor pain, baby's head came out and got stuck on her private, for over 30mins the baby was there struggling to come out. They pulled him out and he was dead. My brother said, sister ofa ni (which meant spiritual attack) I didn't know if I should cry or scream or bite a wood. I WAS DEEPLY HURT AND ANGRY!

I TOLD MY MOM YOU GUYS KILLED THAT BABY.

The baby out with blood from his nose and body with marks. The child went through serious pain.

Ohhh! I was weak. I looked at the mother, I wept, I pitied her! Chaiiii.

I just prayed for her and gave her money.

WHO WILL LIBERATE OUR PEOPLE FROM RELIGIOUS BLINDNESS

Doctors are blessings to us!!

I was really angry and bitter but there's little I can do to help them with their beliefs.

Adebobo came to us at Week 40 into 41 but within the last two weeks He grew from 2.2kg to about 4.1kg in the womb. Completely unbelievable.

My wife was at the clinic for ante natal that week and after all the checks, the Doctor decided to allow her rest and then induce her later in the evening. And we were fine with that option.

Later that evening someone came in and started the induction process with her.

However, another doctor stepped in and said to her “madam, are you having twins? Your tummy is too big for one baby”

And long story short, Doctor said to stop the induction process and start preparing for surgery, but she had to talk to her husband first.

Now the point of emphasis.

Several days before this day, I asked the Lord for His plans concerning the child and the delivery process.

The Lord showed me Isaiah 66:8

“Who has ever heard of such things? Who has ever seen things like this? Can a country be born in a day or….

a nation be brought forth in a moment? Yet no sooner is Zion in labor than she gives birth to her children.”

Isaiah 66:8 NIV

I held on to this verse, and I knew the delivery was settled and the medium was settled.

When my wife walked up to me…

With a worried face and doubts about moving from natural to Caesarian section. As soon as she mentioned it to me, that scripture came alive in my spirit!

A version says “before her labor begins she brings forth child”

I agreed almost immediately without any hesitation.

Next day at around 3pm, Big man was brought out at 4.1Kg and everything was well. The biggest baby in the ward.

“Oga, go bring another cloth, this one is too small for your baby. Your wife gave us a very big baby”

Long story short.. they that KNOW their God…

My second son was 4.3kg in the womb. I was earning so little then. We had a vigil in church and the pastor prophesied, “You will not have CS to have this baby, the baby will just drop!

This is the word of the Lord” I shouted Amen.

His mother got to the hospital and the doctor said it has to be by CS.

I signed the consent document immediately. Baby was out within an hour.

I didn’t have the fund to clear the bill.

Assistant pastor came to visit, and he said “You have no faith, why did you sign? You could have just laid your hands on the womb and command the baby to come forth”

I said “That was what I did sir”

He said “She had a CS, didn’t she?

I said “She did sir”

He said “But I was there when the word of prophecy came on Friday that the baby shall be born without stress.

Today is Monday, what do you mean by that was what you did?”

I said “You heard the prophecy on Friday sir.

The Lord told me my son will born through CS and his name shall be Zion since the month of June sir.

This is August, the prophecy of Friday came several months too late sir.”

The assistant pastor went quiet, we stayed in that hospital for forty days

It took that long for me to raise the bills for the surgery.

The young man is in JSS2 now.
