Live A Meaningful Life

Live A Meaningful Life

Don’t get tired of helping others. You will be rewarded when the time is right, if you don’t give up (Galatians 6:9 CEV).

Life is about giving and receiving. However, some people only take and never give in return. All their lives, they’ve been receiving, but have never been challenged to give.

A man could be physically alive in this world, but “dead” because he’s non-functional in his environment. That’s because nobody benefits from his life; he merely exists to balance the ecosystem. Life can be much more meaningful and exciting than that.

A meaningful life is one that has significance in the lives of others. It’s impacting your world positively with the talents, gifts and endowments God has blessed you with.

So beginning from where you are, and with what you have, you become relevant to others. You help them meet their needs and solve their problems. This should be your guiding principle in life.

Imagine a nurse who has to treat many sick people in one day; that’s a great opportunity for him or her to live a meaningful life and give other people’s lives meaning. How? By showing those patients extra love and care, an endeavour that’ll certainly bring them hope and comfort. Another nurse could look down on the job and even despise having to be around so many sick people because she hasn’t learnt what it means to live a meaningful life.

Don’t live as a “grabber” or a taker; give other men’s lives a meaning. That’s what counts.

The Bible says, “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done…” (2 Corinthians 5:10). The Lord will surely reward you for the good you did for others. He’ll always make happen for you what you make happen for others.

You weren’t born to merely live but to live the good life which God prepared for you ahead of time, an excellent life.

It’s the reason you should always be full of joy and strength, doing great things and blessing your world every day. He’s given you a great life; a life of purpose, power, and abundance. It doesn’t matter the challenges you face; you’re victorious in Christ Jesus.

Jesus gave you a life that’s beyond this world, a life that’s superior to the decadence and corruption of this failing world; a life that’s divine. Glory to God! Maybe you’ve been living in fear because of some diagnosis from the doctors about your health; the life in you is superior to sickness.

You’ve arrived in the place where sickness and disease have lost their grip on you. Therefore, let go of the fears.

Greater is He that’s in you than any sickness that may attempt to fasten itself on you: “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4).

You’ve overcome diabetes, heart trouble, chest pain, cancer, fibroid, or whatever health challenge it may be! Live and enjoy your life in sound health, prosperity, peace, and joy unspeakable and full of glory. Hallelujah!

I have always loved the window sitting on a flight. A window seat offers great views; it affords one the unique opportunity to be inspired by the things you see from such a high altitude: the icy expanse of the Arctic, the glistening peaks of the Alps, the Andes, the clouds, etc.

Every so often, as I look out and savour the beauty and wonder of God’s creation, I say, “Blessed Father, you’re amazing! There’s so much beauty!”

Thus, before arriving at my destination, I enjoy the journey.

Life is that way, too; a journey to be enjoyed. Between now and when the Master comes back, there’s a lot to enjoy; therefore, no one should live a frustrated life.

If you’d learn to pay attention to all the beautiful things and people around you, to enjoy them, you’d live happily every day.

It’s a wise choice when you make up your mind to enjoy your life and yourself even in simple things. Some don’t even enjoy their meals; they always rush it angrily.

Others wake up angry; even while driving or commuting to their place of work, business or school, they’re angry, unhappy and frustrated. They ignore all the love and beauty around them.

Jesus came that we may have and also enjoy life! Enjoying your life isn’t only about going for a game show, or watching a comedy, or engaging in some adventure. Rather, it means enjoying every moment of life’s journey; enjoying everything you do, as long as it’s consistent with a godly life, because you’re a child of God and you know God is fulfilling His dream through you.

God has given you a life of joy, but you have the responsibility to express it. Let the joy of the Lord be evident in your life with such radiance that fully expresses the peace of God in you. Make a conscious choice to enjoy the moments of your life.
