Love and The Python Spirit

It is no longer love when your partner cannot breathe

When embrace becomes a choke

And a hug becomes a strangulation

When ‘I love you’ becomes ‘don’t talk to anybody but me’

‘Who is that, on the phone with you? ’‘Why is your mummy calling you?’

‘What are your younger ones looking for?’

"Why is your daddy always texting?’

‘Are you three years old? Why can’t your friends mind their business?’

‘Why can’t our pastor face his own family issues? Is he saying his life is perfect?’

‘Why is the pastor’s wife always on your side?’

‘I will express myself and everybody will be acting as if I am weird or crazy but I know what I am talking about…I cannot share you with anybody, you are mine and exclusively mine’

Love has become an obsession

Your lover has become a victim of your madness, they begin to fight for dear life

You are a python, my dear

A boar constrictor

An anaconda

You lure your partner into an embrace

And then you choke and suffocate life out of your partner claiming it is love

You are sick and in need of a good psychiatrist

If you get help on time, it may not be too late for you

A man or woman with the python spirit does not come across as such at sight

He or she dresses, talks and acts normally

Within his or heart, he senses there is something a bit off about himself

When he sees someone he loves or cares about talking to other people, it makes him or her feel unsettled or insecure

He or she naturally grows a dislike for the person

His brother or sister is forming another bond or attachment to someone else is not a problem until they fall in love or find themselves in a relationship for the first time

That is when they notice that there is a fire in their heart that burns violently when their lover is having a good time in the company of others or even having a conversation with another person

‘Who is that? Why are you guys all cozy and free with each other that way? What is all the familiarity? Why can’t you draw boundaries?’

They ask, ‘Who is on the phone with you?’

It is always a challenge because no matter the answers they get, the burning fire under their skin does not quench

They are suffering from acute jealousy and insecurity, they claim it is love, but it is not, it is a sickness

Are you like that? Your partner tries to calm you down, they say “Why are you doing this? What is the problem?”

You answer, “I love you, if you love me you will be behaving the same way, love is jealous! All I ever wanted was for someone to love me Passionately and deeply enough to be jealously in love with me but I guess you can never love that deeply.”

You blame him or her for being normal while you are running to the doctor for help

You are comfortable only around your own family members, you want them around you all the time, but your spouse’s relatives are a problem

You don’t like them around, you feel uncomfortable having to smile and pretend to care when you really don’t

You really can’t put down a reason for this

It is because you are a snake, please

Snakes don’t do very well in the company of other snakes except those of their own specie

When you have children it is the same

You don’t want the children of your partner’s siblings to play with or mingle with them

You want to raise your children in isolation because they are yours and only you can decide what is best for them

Again, you are wrong, your children will grow and leave your nest

A snake always ends up alone in life and in death

It is what it is

The spirit of jealousy is not of the Holy Spirit

The love of God is not only liberal, it is free

As jealous as God proclaimed himself to be

He gave freely his own beloved son and attached no condition to our salvation whatsoever

Jealousy is an exclusive prerogative of God

In the Kingdom of God, jealousy is outlawed, it is an act of the flesh

Galatians 5:19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If you are claiming you are jealous because God is jealous, you are ignorant of the realities of the word of God

Vengeance is exclusively God’s prerogative too

He said it is His and he would repay!

None of us believers should pursue revenge as a fruit of the spirit

Let this sink in

If you are a jealous man or woman, you have given room to the engagement of demons in your life

The jealous demon chokes life out of true love, estranges you from those that would care about you and tinkers with your mental health to the point where you cannot make decisions based on logic and reality any longer

Please make amends today before it is too late

Signs of Jealousy

Trust is an important aspect of any relationship. When you are feeling jealous, a lack of trust can lead to negative thoughts. Signs that you might be jealous are:

You don’t trust your partner when you’re not together

You get concerned when they mention other people

You constantly check their social media to see what they’re doing

You think they’re cheating on you

You’re attempting to control your partner’s behavior

If you’re the target of jealousy, you may feel like someone (usually a partner or friend) is trying to control your life

They might do things such as check up on you, try to tell you what to do (or not do) and how to act, or limit your contact with friends and coworkers

Extreme jealousy is listed as one of the warning signs of domestic violence and abuse

If you’re the target of intimidation in a relationship or worried about your partner becoming angry or violent, get to a safe place and then reach out for help.

It’s not uncommon to have these feelings

Almost everybody has tinges of jealousy or feels envious from time to time

Recognizing the signs of jealousy and envy can help you control your emotions so they don’t escalate or negatively impact your life.
