Learn of Him

Let's discuss the difference between 
religion and the gospel of the kingdom 
referencing the book of Mark 7. 
Notice from verses 1 to 5, the Pharisees 
were complaining that the disciples of 
Jesus didn't wash their hands 'according 
to the instructions of the elders' not that 
their hands were actually dirty. 
Religion places more emphasis on controlling 
what we see and keeping up appearances 
while real Christianity focuses on the heart. 
Religion uses the words 'my church', while 
the Bible talks about 'our kingdom'
God knows that He is the only one that can 
actually make you clean, so He doesn't 
bother asking you to wash yourself
He just asks you to let Him wash you. 
He will not bother about how you dress, 
how many times you give to the church 
or pregnancy test a few days before 
marriage while ignoring the many single 
ladies in church constantly coming to 
the alter few minutes after sex to raise 
holy hands! 
No! He is more interested in your heart! 
If there is no desire to sin, there will be 
no sin. 
He takes away the desire to sin when 
you walk with Him. 
He wants your heart, not your hypocritical 
services! 
Read further for the reply of Jesus Christ, 
these are His words not mine. 
Verse 6 to 7 says; 'these people honour me 
with their lips, but their hearts are far 
from me. THEY WORSHIP ME IN VAIN; 
their teachings are merely human rules'. 
Here, God denied a lot of teachings from 
the church. 
Any service you give to God out of 
compulsion, fear or coercion. 
Whether it is money or 500hours in the 
church are in vain when it is not from a 
pure heart that is in unison with the 
Spirit of God. 
This is why a little thing like covid-19 can turn 
the church upside down as there is nobody 
monitoring members again
We have spent years feeding religion and 
hypocrisy so much that if there are no 
physical cameras or human cameras, 
Christians don't feel the need to be 
Christians anymore. 
They just relax and became regular people 
which makes our religious leaders fidget! 
They are losing souls which they never 
had in the first place because they didn't 
invite God in their teachings and principles, 
they only used God to have their way and 
now they can no longer sustain it as God
is no longer involved. 
What God wants is for your heart to be 
right with Him, when you have truly received 
the love of God, nothing can stop you from 
serving God! 
I have spent time to read and analyze the 
scriptures for myself before sharing it with 
you, nobody was watching me but God. 
My quiet time is very refreshing because 
this is where the wisdom to live my life 
flows from
This is where I kill those desires and seeds 
that the devil planted during the day, 
(hoping to see them grow) but spending 
quality time, listening and communicating 
with God shapes my life daily. 
Immediately I lose focus from God, the storms 
of life just rush me and I start drowning again. 
The storm is always outside and God is aware 
that if He is not in your life, all that is left will 
be hypocrisy!
Because He loves you, those other activities 
don't matter to Him as much as your heart does. 
He doesn't care what you have done because 
He knows how difficult it is to compete with 
the evil in this world without His backing. 
This is why your works will be tried with fire
You might be surprised that all the activities 
and empty worships you give God doesn't get 
accepted by Him, it is more like trying to woo 
a girl, buying her lots of gifts and she keeps 
rejecting them but because you were sending 
those gifts through someone, you never knew 
that they didn't get to her. 
The day you finally meet her, she will 
ask you the question; 'which gift?', 
I don't know what you are talking about. 
Then you will realize that all the hardwork 
was in vain but it was already too late. 
Stop serving God through your pastors 
and leaders!
Serve God directly for yourself! 
You can use their messages as references 
to clarify your thoughts but you still have 
the Holy Spirit to serve as a filter in order 
to remove those self-serving lines before 
you give all your sweat to serve a God 
that you don't even know. 
Take up your Bible and learn of God! 
He is a very simple being, 
He is very lovely and easy to get along with. 
He doesn't burden you with so much, 
rather He strengthens you and equips you 
with will and wisdom to get a 
lot of things done within a little time and 
still refreshes you! 
God is beautiful! 
He is an epitome of love and justice! 
He is a personality that you can relate 
with and hear from when you start training 
yourself to hear Him, starting from little 
instructions to big one. 
He exists! Not just the way we portray 
Him to be. 
LEARN OF HIM!
